It looks to me like there's been a lot of buying into propaganda on both sides.

I have yet to hear what Hussein Obama will "change". And "Duck and cover" is hardly foreign policy.

Both Hussein's and McCains economic policies are going to leave this economy in shambles. Both of them want Illegal immigration accepted and open borders.

This was not a win for America. (not to say McCain would have been either).

And it's not that JUST Obama was elected. We still got Pilocy, and Reed (two people more liberal than Obama) with Obama, There's no checks and balances. 250 seats voting for spending in the house, and an almost 2/3 majority in the senate.

Do any of you Obama lovers remember what happened the last time this happened? Under Fuck-face bush and all the hardly fiscal conservative (i say that as a joke cause they spend like liberals) house and senate majorities. We ended up with a housing market crash.

housing market crash = low rent, right?
too many checks and balances means nothing gets done.

i'm pretty sure i could've voted twice, in 2 diff ways,

1, peoples voter registration info was sent to my building, and some were left out on the radiator near the mailboxes, all i woulda had to do was forge their signature.

2, after coming out the booth, the guy was supposed to take my little piece of paper, but he didn't until i happen to drop it in front of him, if i held onto it, i coulda went back later and voted

who for?
obama

why?
foreign policy and environmental issues mostly. I think this is all directly connected to the economy and national morale.

Foreign policy? His is no different then that of Mcains, im confused by that statement. Everything is connected to the economy, and the economy is fucked. I hate to sound pessimistic about all this but if you do your homework, shit has hit the fan and no one seems to know how to unplug it.

Really?
Did you do your homework? Of course the economy is fucked, but I'm saying environmental and foreign policy issues may have to do with how to unplug the fan.
Anyways, here's a good place to start.

There are differences. And it's not just his policy. Unfortunately, the rest of the world (with the exception of China and India in some sectors) is pretty stoked we chose Obama, and they think we're not so stupid. Sure, this is nuts because it is OUR decision and not theirs, and not that this is policy exactly but our foreign standing is better already.
There are a lot of similarities between the two and I'll agree that things are fucked for the most part. All the democrats in every corner definitely worries me.

We're now down 929 points two days after an Obama presidential election. Anyone who thinks Obama is good for the economy, doesn't know how the economy works.

This will continue to drop.

well yeah, politicians have very little to do with the economy... they can divvy up spending through budgets but besides that, nada... the economy (and the world) is controlled by banks..

i'll go ahead and plug this here as it's the most relevant live thread on agro to do so..

"Zeitgeist: Addendum" was released last month which is a follow up to "zeitgeist: the movie"...
http://zeitgeistmovie.com/

a 700mb avi is coming off the megaupload free account servers at up to 1.1mb/sec... link for that here... http://www.megaupload.com/?d=78WVFFIZ

otherwise, you can stream it off the zeitgeist movie site via googlevideo... (the higher quality one is better though because you have to read certain things that aren't so clear on the streamed version)

watch it...

I watched that a few weeks ago. It's a real eye-opener as far as seeing how the banking system works and is very much self-serving.

I second everyone watching this thing.

I'm not so into their underlying anti-religion or science as a religion theme. The rest is all positive.
